Week 2 Notices

Swimming: Room 14 will be swimming on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please bring your togs and towel each day.

Reminder: No pie warmers days this term. We will do this again in the winter terms.

Sun Hats: Although sun hats are only compulsory after Labour Weekend, this coming week is going to be quite hot. It will be a good idea for all children to wear their sun hats and sun screen this week.

Thank you to all parents and caregivers who supplied their children with pencils, pens and rulers last week. It means less time is wasted trying to find the correct equipment.

Library: Every Wednesday this term.

Clothing: Please name all clothing including sandals so that we can return lost items to the correct children. All unnamed clothing is placed in the 'Lost Property' box outside Room 6 if not claimed by children in the surrounding classes.

Homework: Homework has been set on the class blog.

Cake Stall: The Young Vinnies will be holding a cake stall on Wednesday at 10.30am outside Room 3. Cakes will be 50 cents and $1.00 each.

Welcome back to school, I hope everybody has had a fantastic break.
We are looking forward to another busy term filled with lots of hard work, some dancing, swimming and lots more.....

***NOTICES***

Uniform
We are in transition between wearing summer and winter uniforms. We expect all children to be in summer uniforms by the week after Labour weekend. We will not accept children wearing part of summer and winter uniform. They must be in one or the other. Sunhats will also need to be worn from Labour weekend too.

Swimming
The school pool is now open and classes will be swimming every alternate week.
Swimming is part of our learning so it is expected that all children take part.  (If your child can not participate please send a note or email their teacher.)

Hopefully lots of reading happened in the holidays.  Reading logs need to be returned to school this week.  Prizes will be handed out on Friday at assembly.  The class that returns the most reading logs will win a prize.   (Come on Room 14/15 it would be fantastic for one of us to win it.)
