Getting ready for the school gala

Would you guess what went by our window? No it was not a cow, no it was not an elephant, it was a run away chair because the school is getting ready for the school gala to night. The school is looking ford to the school gala. But the chair is not looking forward to the gala because people are going to be siting on the chair all night long.

The Maunganui reading group have been reading a play. They performed the play to the class.

Save our frogs

We have some cute little frogs in our classes. But we need your help to keep them healthy. Please bring in some slaters or other small insects that will keep them well fed.

It is going to be a busy week.

Monday: Bring in books, toys, preloved clothes and nacho ingredients. Reading books coming home.
Tuesday: Bring in tinned goods or bags of lollies.
Wednesday: Kick It - all students need PE gear. Please bring in fresh fruit and vegetables for the gala tomorrow.
Thursday: GALA DAY! Finally it's the school gala. see you there from 4 pm. Please bring in baking any fresh produce.
Friday: Leg It- All students need their PE gear. Golden time will be a whole school tug o war competition organised by Mr Macmillan. There will be no assembly. Homework books and reading books back to class.

Lauren's big adventure to Austrailia!

On Lauren's 7th birthday she went on an adventure to Austrailia! In Austrailia Lauren got a fairy tale book, featherdale wildlife park book, a toy panda-bear and toy kowala, earring stickers, and a slinky.

KICK IT

Today we had so much fun playing football because Joe helped us get better at dribbling and playing soccer. (Caitlin & Jasmine)

Charlie brought her pet rabbit to school. He felt soft and fluffy.

Waterslide Goldentime!

Today's Goldentime was really fun! We went on the waterslide with a lot of classes! We had soap and water to make it really slippery. We got really soaked by our cheeky teacher, Mr James!
